Intensive Courses

"How You Can Take The Quickest Route To A Full Driving Licence"

There is a certain advantage to taking an intensive course of driving lessons over a few short weeks, and if you fit into one of these categories it can be the perfect option:

You may:

  • Work away from home
  • Not have the time to take weekly lessons
  • Require a finishing off course of lessons
  • just need to pass as quickly as possible
  • not want to take the traditional route of one lesson each week

There may be other reasons to take an intensive course, but these are the common ones.

Planning an intensive course is very straight forward; the first step is to take an assessment lesson of 1.5 hours so that your driving instructor can advise you on how many lessons will be required and how the course will be delivered. We then book your driving test for the earliest date available and schedule your driving lessons to start either 1 or 2 weeks prior to the driving test date, dependant on the option you choose.

The assessment lesson will give you enough time to become familiar with the driving school car and your instructor, and he in turn will have sufficient time to assess your abilities and decide which course is suitable for you. Your instructor will also answer any questions you may have.

Requirements to book an intensive driving course

You will need both parts of your UK provisional licence, a current theory test pass certificate and enough time off work/college to do up to 4 hours per day with a short break after each 2 hours.

Payment options:

The assessment 1.5 hour lesson is charged at the time of taking it at £30. After your assessment a deposit of £100 will be required to secure a driving test. The balance will be due 2 weeks prior to the intensive course start date.
