Like all skills driving improves with practice. There are regular changes to the driving regulations, to road layouts and to driving techniques as vehicle technology develops. The volume of traffic on the roads is increasing each year and greater skill is needed to drive as safely as possible.
However, there may be times when you have not driven for some time. Before starting to drive again you may have concerns about being able to drive confidently.
Also following an accident, or an incident with another road user you may want to make sure that your driving continues to be safe.
To help with these situations we can provide an assessment session and, where necessary, create a tailored short course to get you back behind the wheel confidently. Our instructors will assess you current level of driving and discuss with you your strengths and areas which need work and also how many lessons you may need.
Sometimes the assessment session is all you may need to confirm that you have maintained the safe standards you demonstrated when you passed your test.
Alternatively, if you have been driving for some time, you might just want to "MOT your driving". An assessment session may bring you in line with current driving practices and ensure you maintain the quality of your driving.
This is also recommended if you intend to accompany a member of your family whilst they learn to drive. You will have an opportunity not only to meet their instructor but also to have an understanding of how they are being taught to drive.
