Elite driving instructors are ALL Fully qualified and highly trained to assess your needs and to tailor your driving lessons to your exact requirements. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: a large number of driving schools operating in the local area, use trainee driving instructors. A trainee Instructor has to pass the DSA tests before they are qualified, and records show that only 25% of trainee instructors actually qualify. You could be paying full price for your driving lessons to a trainee instructor!

How to check your driving instructor’s standard to give tuition

DSA regularly checks the standard of instruction of all ADIs (approved driving instructors). The instructor is then given a grade:

• '4' is satisfactory
• '5' is a good overall standard
• '6' is the highest

Anything below a ‘4’ is a fail and the instructor will be required to bring him/her self up to the required standard or loose their licence to instruct.

It doesn't matter how good your instructor is, without your feedback, their job becomes difficult. Learning is a two way process, you learn from your instructor while they learn about you, It's an ongoing conversation and with your commitment to learn will rapidly skyrocket you to success.

Your lessons, your way

Everyone learns in different ways. So when you Book with Elite, one of the first things we'll do is work out a lesson structure, which will be designed to give you the very best chance becoming a safe driver & passing your driving test 1st time.

When you start your lessons with Elite your instructor will give you your own copy of Elite's Track Record - this is a log book to help you track your progress and for your instructor to plan your lessons. So you'll be able to see at a glance how you're doing and how far off the all-important driving test day you are.

*If in the case you don't receive the full time that you have paid for your instructor will double the lost time on the next lesson. E.g. if you have booked 1 hr and the lesson has to be cut short by 10 minutes your instructor will add 20 minutes to your next lesson.

This is applicable If the instructor is late due to traffic conditions and has to cut your lesson short due to commitments, or ends a lessons early because of a problem with the car.

If you are late for your lesson then this agreement does not apply, it is your responsibility to be on time for your lessons.
